Please take a few moments to read through the details and requirements for Tent Installation before requesting a quote. We are happy to help you via email or phone for further details, but it is important for your event and for our staff to ensure we know everything ahead of time.
The size of the tent you are looking at takes into consideration the space inside. It doesn't allow for the different staking requirements. A frame tent requires an extra 2 feet around the entire perimeter and a pole tent requires an additional 5 feet to anchor the tent properly.
Underground utilities are always a hazard and cannot be guessed on or ignored. If you are unsure what may be in the area you want to use, we do offer a locate service with advance notice. Our crew has the right to refuse installation at your expense if safety is questionable as mistakes with gas and underground electrical can be fatal.
Securing the tents are done primarily with stakes. They are driven 4 feet into the ground and are 1.5" in diameter. These are required in set amounts for each sized tent to ensure the safety of your guests and your event in every weather situation. Properly secured, the tents are designed to withstand the highest winds and storms with monitoring.
Our smallest tents are able to be weighted if staking is not an option for your event. The weights are cost per weight as they require more labour to transport. The largest tent that can be weighted is a 15 ft x 15 ft.
We recommend sidewall for privacy and protection from driving winds and rain. In the summer months, we caution from using more than 1 wall as cutting off airflow can cause extreme heat retention within the space.
You delivery fee covers delivery with UP TO a 50 foot walk on flat terrain. Please ensure you disclose if the distance is greater to avoid an extra surcharge after delivery.
Tents require clearance overhead as well. the peak of some of our tents reach as high as 24 ft and require no touching limbs. If you have concerns about clearance, please ask about a site inspection so we can advise if anything is going to need pruning, removal or if we need to consider another location or tent size.
Basic delivery fees cover delivery on flat terrain (as stated previously with up to a 50ft walk). All of the pieces of a tent to be assembled are heavy and cumbersome and are even more arduous in summer heat waves. Difficult terrain makes the process even more difficult and can result in extended deliveries and snowball into being later for subsequent deliveries. Please disclose any terrain concerns to avoid an extra surcharge after delivery.
Tents are big. The poles are metal. And they take longer to install the bigger they get. And lightening and high winds mean no install. This means in order to take care of everyone each week, we need to schedule accordingly. Each Monday morning, the schedule is put together based on geographical location and when you NEED it up for. Delays can happen when weather interferes or we run into problems at a previous install. We thank you for your patience.
